Book Bookmark Clips

Hi, Leah Schaeffer with you folks today to share something I made today with teachers in mind. I was inspired by the upcoming teacher appreciation week at school and while I was emailing doing room-mom duty, I had this idea! Of course, these are pretty darling for any reader out there and when my daughter saw them, she wanted one. So I know kiddo's would like it as well. These would be easy to laminate, however I cut extra layers so these are rather sturdy.

These are super easy to create using any design software from your electronic cutters. Simply put your images together, group and weld. That will create a base shape where you can then layer the other die cuts. Much easier then a bunch of single images.

The clip, books and apple were the 3 image sets that were welded together. To make this extra sturdy, 2 other layers cut in thicker card stock were added to the back. Also, if giving this as a gift, it leaves a fun spot to write a little something. These can also be sized into whatever you'd prefer. I did make these guys pretty large at over 10 inches in length.

Because of the length, they are better more tucked into the book then using the actual "clip". If you didn't want so much at the top, then you can size it differently or design something that doesn't sit as tall above the clip portion. I'm already thinking of doing more of these with a different design for my bible study girl friends!

Rodeo Time with Farm Critters & Cookout Cutting Files...

Katy here, with an Inside to my Heart...I hope everyone's weekend is going GREAT!!!

My husband and I went to our local Rodeo last weekend...first time we've been in about 15 years!!! I took a couple of shots that I wanted to scrap and remembered our CUTE little Farm Critters!

I have a few friends who ask me all the time "How do you do 1-page layouts...I'm a 2-page layout girl!"...well, instances like THIS is why! It wasn't a BIG ordeal for me and my husband so I didn't take a whole lot of pictures but I wanted to commemorate the occasion with a layout...hence the 1-page, short & sweet layout!

Be the ringmaster

Hi, and Happy Thursday!

Gloria here from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. I hope everyone is doing well.

For my project today I made a circus theme card using the boy from PPPR  Carolers Cutting Files and changed the color of his clothes and the shape of his buttons (I love my Disney).  Than I thought it would be nice to add some popcorn and even better lets spill some. lol.... The popcorn is from PPPR Movie Popcorn Cutting Files. I did use the print and cut on my cameo for the caroler and the popcorn. For the sentiment I just typed it on my computer. It was per luck that I had the printed background paper as well as the little tickets. To finish the card off I added Heidi Swapp black velvet color shine.

The two PPPR files I used:

Also don't forget we over PPPR have a Gettin' Crafty challenge going on now. Hope you can play along. Click HERE for more info and to link up.

You Color Me Happy

Hey there, Nicole here today and I have a fun card to share with you.  I have been wanting to use the PPPR "Glam It Up" cutting files for awhile now and finally had a reason to use them to make a card.  I designed this card with my mom in mind.  She is constantly supplying me and my girls with new skincare and makeup products and I just wanted to send her a card to let her know how much I appreciate her thinking of me and spoiling me :-)

To create my card I used the following Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons' files -

"A2 Card Bases 3" cutting files
"Glam It Up" cutting files

Crafty Valentines

Leah sharing with you today and I've got a couple valentine cards I made for 2 of my girlfriends. One is a scrapbooker, one is not. But they both know that I am big into paper crafts so I thought these were perfect. There is something that goes back to my childhood with my love of office supplies. So when Lisa created this new set, I just knew right away I wanted to play with them!
I kept the design simple with a mix of a stamped sentiment and die cut sentiment. Then added some hearts to complete the valentine theme. I also used the stitched die cut shape for some background interest.

A little Wink of Stella on the hearts and black sentiment and that finished it up!

Here are the files and direct links to the shop...
