Sweeter Then a Cookie

Let us start with Happy Memorial Day!
We are thinking of ALL of those, past, present and future that will
serve this country with a heart strong and brave.
We thank you for caring for us and what we all stand for.
Thanks to all that serve and particularly for those
that have lost their life in return for our freedom!
Hi, Leah Schaeffer sharing with you today! I am so excited to finally share this layout with you all! Been waiting more then 2 weeks to post this since it was created during a recent scrapbook retreat that I got to go on! It was so fun! This page was a hit with all my girlfriends too!
I have become such a fan of baking...not just eating the treats! LOL! So it was a joy to make my first real "baking" layout. I hope to do more in the future since Lisa offers so many wonderful food files!

Do you know that you have the option not to cut or print and cut the faces from all the files here at PPPR? If there isn't an option without the face, I simply that that image and release compound path. Once released, move the image away and behind that will be the "pieces" of whatever face was left. Those can be deleted and then you are left with a solid shape. Keep in mind almost everything you see below had a face option...

Okay, let's just to the file used. Oh how I love this one!

   Thanks for stopping by today!

Bright Idea!

Hi, Ruth here today from Paper and Musings.

School is winding down and I've got a project that we'll be giving as a gift to a teacher.
I decorated the front of a craft covered notebook with Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons die cuts (some with digital papers from the shop, too!)
Here it is:
Don't you just love that face? It's from the Laughing Light Bulb Cutting Files! I think it went very well with the Sunburst Shapes Cutting Files, which worked well with Halloween Flourish Digital paper! The sentiment card is filled with a School Days Chalkboards digital paper pattern. Couldn't resist using the chalkboard design for this teacher gift!

If you want more details about my project, feel free to stop by my blog where I tell more about what I did.

I hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.
Be sure to play along with our Oh, Snap challenge (click the Monthly Challenges tab at the top of this post.) I'd love to see what you create!

Happy crafting!
Ruth

Thank You...

Happy Saturday PPPR Friends!

It's Kathy, from Kathy and Kids, and today I am sharing with you a Thank You card I made using one of the cuts from the "Exercise Equipment" cutting files.

You may be wondering if this is for a gym friend or work-out friend, right?  Nope.  I made a couple of these for the team moms of my son's lacrosse team.  The inside reads, "Thanks for keeping things running smoothly!"  Get it? LOL

Details:

Perfect Blend

Hi, and Happy Thursday!

Gloria here from Gloria's Goofy Craft Spot. I hope everyone is doing well.

For my project today I made a 5X5 card using the PPPR "Java Great Day" Cutting Files for the coffee cups and stamped them with Peachy Keen Sweet on You face stamp set.  I used PPPR Earth Day Title Cutting Files for all the hearts. The sentiment is from PBD Perk Up stamp set.
I inked the card base and the printed (that reminds me of news paper) with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink, and inked the heart with Tim Holtz Evergreen Bough Distress Ink.
I also added some Glossy Accents to the eyes.
What I used:

PPPR Earth Day Title Cutting Files

  PBD Perk Up stamp set
Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink
Tim Holtz Evergreen Bough Distress Ink
Tim Holtz Picked Raspberry Distress Ink
Glossy Accents

Thank You for stopping by and before I go I want to remind you that we have a super fun challenge going on now till May 30th. The projects can be anything that has to do with cameras, photos, or memories, just make sure that you're using Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon file. Link up HERE.
