Teacher Appreciation Tags

Happy Saturday, everyone!  It's my day to post over at Pink by Design, and I have some teacher appreciation tags that I created to share with you today.  I think they will be great to have on hand all year to send little treats to the teacher as the year goes.  It will be nice to show my youngest daughter's teacher that she's appreciated all year round, I think.  Anyway, here they are:

All of the sentiments for these tags are from the new Pink by Design Love My Teacher half pint stamp set.  Aren't they so fun?  I used lots and lots of PPPR files for these tags.  Here's the list, if you're interested:

By the way, these would be perfect for the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Back to School Challenge that is going on now.  You still have a couple of weeks to link up HERE for a chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  I'd love it if you'd join in on the fun!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I hope you're having an awesome weekend.  I'll be back on Monday with another project to share with you.

PPPR Back to School Blog Hop & Challenge

Hey, everyone!  Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Back to School Blog Hop.  My awesome Design Team members and I will be sharing all sorts of Back to School inspiration using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Files.  You'll also have the chance to win some awesome blog candy, and you'll find out all of the details for this month's challenge.  Here's what I created for the hop:

I created this card from one of the title files in the new School Titles Cutting Files set.  I wanted it to look like a real chalkboard, so I filled the blackboard part with a green pattern from the School Days Chalkboards Digital Paper Pack.  I love the look the pattern gives the card.  I added some ink and some doodles, and my card was all done.  I hope you like it!

Our hop also kicks off our 3rd monthly challenge.  YAY!  The theme this month is...you've got it...Back to School.  Create anything school themed using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files, and link it up.  Here are all of the details of the challenge:

  1. The project must be Back to School-themed.  Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons products must be the focus of the project.
  2. Please link to your actual blog post...not to your blog.  If you don't have a blog, you can add a photo of your project to the Back to School Challenge photo folder in the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Project Parade Facebook Group.
  3. You can enter as many different Back to School projects as you want for more chances to win.
  4. The challenge will run for 3 weeks.  You must link up your project by 11:55 pm CST on Saturday, September 14, 2013.
  5. One random winner of a $10 Gift Certificate to PPPR will be chosen.  Our Design Team will also choose our PPPR Top 3.  Winners will be announced on Wednesday, September 18, 2013.
The Linky will be at the end of this post. :)

Okay, now...how about some BLOG CANDY???

One lucky hopper will win a $15 Gift Certificate to PPPR, a BasicGrey 6x6 inch paper pad, some My Mind's Eye buttons and doilies, and a set of three colored jute twines. Simply Love

Happy Thursday, everyone!  It's my day to post over at Pink by Design, and I have a simple little card to share with you today.  It only took me 10 minutes to make (it would have been a lot less if I didn't have so much trouble threading the twine through this little button).  HA!  Anyway...here's my card:

To create this card, I simply stamped this LOVE sentiment from Pink by Design's Say it Boldly Stamp Set in three different colors of pink ink and trimmed around it.  Then, I created an A2 sized card base out of patterned card stock and wrapped a little pink jute twine around it.  I secured the twine by tying a knot through a fun button (which really was torture!), and I added the sentiment with foam tape for a little dimension.  Then, my card was all done!  I love how it turned out.  It's nice to be able to create a quick card without firing up my computer or Silhouette machine every once in a while.
Don't forget about this week's challenge, going on now.  You can join in on the Round Out Your Summer challenge by creating a project using something ROUND.  You can find out all of the details and link up your project by clicking HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I'll be back tomorrow with some new files and a Friday Freebie to share.  Have a great day!!!

Design Team Day & Summer Challenge

Happy Wednesday, everyone!  It's my favorite day...Design Team Day!  YAY!!!!  Plus, I have some winners of the Summer Fun Challenge to announce. So, let's get to it! :)

I created this fun easel card using the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Surf's Up Cutting Files set.  This title included the little half circle, so I just did some creative welding in Silhouette Studio to create the base for the easel card.  I added a shape from the PPPR Sentiment Spots 2 Cutting Files set so there would be a place to add a nice message.  That way, this card could be used for birthday, thank you, or just because.  I finished off the card with a little twine and some doodles.

Here are the amazing projects the wonderful members of my Design Team created.  If you have a chance, please pop over to their blogs to leave them some sweet comments. :)
