Guest Designer ~ Zeni Pradel

I'm so excited that I have another Guest Designer today on my blog.  It's been over a month since I've had a guest, so I'm happy to have the help of my friend, Zeni Pradel from Scrappy Zeni today.  Here's the fun project she created with Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Digital Clip Art and Digital Papers:

Zeni used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Superheroes Trio and Superhero Badges Digital Clip Art Sets to create this adorable invitation.  She also used the Rainbow Stars Digital Papers for the background.  I love how this turned out! :)  Please head on over to Zeni's Blog to show her some bloggy love...we all LOVE comments!

If you love Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons products and are interested in becoming a Guest Designer for me, please e-mail me at lisanorris@prettypapergraphics.com.  I'd love to show off your PPPR project!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Have a great weekend!

Believe ~ SOUS Die Cut Challenge Nov. 30

TGIF, everyone!  It's time for another Stuck on U Sketches Die Cut Challenge.  The challenge this time is to use a die cut of GIFTS on your project.  Here's what I came up with:

I god this fun little Santa holding gifts from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Jolly St. Nick Cutting Files Set, and I cut him out with my Silhouette Cameo.  The background paper, borders and tag all came from the My Mind's Eye 12 Days of Christmas Paper and Accessories Pack.  I added some pretty red jewels and some twine, and my card was all done...easy peasy!

Now, it's your turn!  Head on over to Stuck on U Sketches to see what the other amazing Design Team members created.  Then, link up your own project that includes a die cut of GIFTS.  We can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Have a wonderful weekend!

Cameo Creations ~ White Christmas Challenge

YAY!!!!  It's time for another Cameo Creations Challenge!  The theme for this challenge is White Christmas.  So, you can create any project with your Silhouette machine that has to do with that theme.  It could be about snow, or snowmen, or it could be a white Christmas card.  Lots of possibilities with this one.  Here's what I came up with for the challenge:

I

I got this Snowflake Swoosh Card from the Silhouette Online Store.  I embossed the background with my Cuttlebug Snowflakes Embossing Folder and inked it up with some white pigment ink.  I added some pretty jewels and a sentiment from Pink by Design's Snowflakes Stamp Set.

I created a pocket on the inside with pretty patterned paper that would show on the front.  I added a little ribbon trim to the top of the paper.  Now, I can send some goodies to someone special this Christmas in the little pocket (something more than a dollar, I think...LOL!  That's all I had on hand to tuck in there for the photo.) ;)

Okay, now it's your turn.  Head on over to Cameo Creations to see what the other Design Team members created for this challenge.  Then, you can link up your own project for a chance to win this fun little prize pack:

By the way, we're having a Design Team call over at Cameo Creations!  We'd love to add some Silhouette-lovin' crafters to our team.  Check out all of the details on the Cameo Creations Facebook Page

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I'll be back tomorrow with a fun card and a Guest Designer.  I hope you'll come back! :)

Thank You Snow Much

TGIF!!!!  Today is Not-a-Card Friday over at Pink by Design.  I wanted to make a little thank-you treat box that I can send to my daughter's teacher.  Here it is:

The sweet little polar bears came from Pink by Design's Beary Merry Christmas stamp set.  I colored them with my Copic markers.  I got the sentiment from Pink by Design's Snowflakes Stamp Set.  The snowflakes in the background also came from that set.

To create this little treat box thingy, I used the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Snow Globe Cutting Files. I mirrored the base layer of the file in Silhouette Studio, scooted it down a little bit, and drew a rectangle in between them.  Then, I welded the 3 shapes together.  This is what it looked like on my screen:

I filled the base of the snow globe with patterns from the Christmas Brights Flourish and Christmas Brights Chevron & Stripes Digital Paper Packs.

Then, I just punched a couple of holes in the top and threaded some pretty Christmas ribbon through.  I added a treat bag of Kisses, which I just taped to the inside.

I hope you like my little treat box thingy. ;)

By the way, Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons is having a BIG BLACK FRIDAY SALE starting today!  YAY!!!!!  Use the coupon code borntoshop to save up to 40% on all files in the store.  Here's how it works:

Design Team Day!!!

Hey, everyone!!!!  Are my American friends as excited as I am about all of the yummy goodies we're in for tomorrow?!?!?!  YUM!!!  I can hardly wait!!! Well, to make waiting a little better, I have some fun Design Team projects to share with you today.  First, here's what I decided to make this week with Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files:

I used the new Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Eternal Love Cutting Files to create this fun card.  The background shapes are filled with PPPR Love Bug Flourish and Love Bug Floral Brocade Digital Papers.   Then, I added some pretty sparkly ribbon from my Really Reasonable Ribbon November Ribbon Club Assortment.

I chose to print and cut Edward and Bella's faces using Silhouette Studio since the pieces would have been so small.  It was really easy.  I just grouped together the facial features, the face, and the black under layer, and then set the cut lines to Cut Edge.  That way, only the outline of the faces were cut.  I also print and cut the other skin layers so the colors would match.  This fun sentiment comes from Pink By Design's Dazzle Stamp Set.  I also got the little sparkle stars from there, too.

I decided that I needed to add something to the inside since the card base is black.  So, I added some white card stock with some more ribbon and sparkle stars.

Okay, now....here's the other fabulous projects from the PPPR Design Team.  Be sure to click on the links under the photos to go to each blog to show these talented ladies some bloggy love.

Embossed Thank You

Hey, everyone!  It's time for my 2nd Pink by Design post for the week.  Today, we're showing you what you can do with wet embossing.  I chose to use some pretty, sparkly embossing powder with one of Pink by Design's gorgeous background stamps.  Here's my card:

This photo doesn't do this card justice...I really love how it turned out when I see it in person.  I used my Versa Mark ink pad and some sparkly red embossing powder with my Pink by Design Paisley Background Stamp.  I love how the embossing really makes the stamped image pop.

Here's a closeup of the embossing.

I also used embossing powder for this sentiment from the Pink by Design Bracketful Stamp Set.

I hope you like my simple little card.  Be sure to link up your own Thank You Card or Gift for this week's Pink by Design Challenge.  You don't have to use PBD stamps, but it's always appreciated. :)  You have until Sunday night to link up your project...the prize is the PBD Fresh Goodies Stamp Set.

I'll be back later today with some Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Design Team inspiration. :)

Nuts About You

Happy Monday, everyone!  It's my day to post over at Action Wobbles, and I have a quick little card to share with you today.  Here it is:

I created the base for this card by using this label shape that I found in the Silhouette Online Store.  I mirrored the base shape and welded the two together in Silhouette Studio to create a card.  The funny little acorn came from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Acorn Faces Cutting Files, and I embossed his cap with my Cuttlebug Tiny Mosaic embossing folder.  I added some pretty 3 Girl JAM Holly Berry crinkle ribbon and this fun sentiment from Pink by Design's Go Green stamp set, and  my little card was all done.

Of course, I had to put this goofy little guy on an Action Wobble.

Look at him go!

Here's what the Action Wobble looks like under there.

You can purchase your own Action Wobbles at the World of Wobble site or at the Royal Castle Shoppe.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'll be back Wednesday with some more fun projects!

Pink by Design Thank You Challenge

Happy Monday!!!  Well, we've been doing things a little differently over at Pink by Design for the last few weeks.  We post a new challenge on Mondays, show you a technique or tip in Wednesdays, and create some sort of non-card project on Fridays.  From now on, I'll be posting for PBD during only one week a month, but I'll post 3 projects for that week.  So, today we're introducing this week's challenge:  to create a Thank You Card or Gift.  Here's what I created:

This big sentiment from Pink by Design's Giant Greetings Stamp Set is perfect for a thank you card.  I love how big and bold it is.  I stamped it on a shape from the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons (PPPR) Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files Set, which I filled with a subtle pattern from the PPPR Pumpkin Spice Falling Leaves Digital Paper Pack.  The tree is from the PPPR Tree Cutting Files, and I filled it with patterns from the PPPR Pumpkin Spice Pattern Pack 2 and the Pumpkin Spice Out West digital paper packs.  I created the card base using this tag shape from the Silhouette Online Store, and I embossed the background piece with me Cuttlebug and my Sizzix Curly Gate embossing folder.  Of course, I added lots of ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink, and my card was all done!  I hope you like it!

Now it's your turn.  Head on  over to Pink by Design to see what some of our other Design Team members created.  Then, link up your own Thank You Card or Gift.  We can't wait to see what you create!  The prize for this challenge is a Pink by Design Fresh Goodies Stamp Set, and you have one week to enter. :)
